Local Umbrella Media Named Main Media Sponsor For Carini Women’s Golf Tournament at Pro Kids | The First Tee San Diego
Pro Kids |The First Tee of San Diego, a local charitable organization that challenges underserved youth to excel in life by promoting character development, life skills, and values through education and the game of golf, announced a partnership with Local Umbrella Media as its main media partner for the Carini Women’s Golf Tournament. The Women’s Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Colina Park Golf Course in San Diego’s City Heights Neighborhood, where one of the two Pro Kids facilities is located.

Weber added that the Carini Women’s Golf Tournament’s focus on raising money for programs that specifically benefit girls and young women were an added benefit for his company’s participation. “We were very impressed with the programs at Pro Kids that get funding from the Women’s Golf Tournament,” he said. “One of these programs is called the Girls Mentoring Committee, that among other activities, pairs young girls and young women at the program with successful women in the community for a variety of events and activities where the girls get to participate in new experiences and go to places most would never visit without the program.”
