Ms. Wright has been a part of Pro Kids | The First Tee San Diego since its inception in 1994. Her late husband, Ernie Wright, was the founder of the organization. Ernie was a philanthropist that loved golf and loved kids. His vision was to create a safe environment where kids could have fun learning to play golf, but more importantly, learn life skills and have support with academics and personal growth.
Victoria became involved in the Girls Mentoring Committee early on and still enjoys doing fun projects and going on outings with the girls. “I’m so impressed with these young women. They are engaging and self-confident. I love seeing the alumni of the program return to share their college and job successes and supporting the kids currently in the program,” she stated.
Victoria worked for many years in the real estate development industry. She decided to return to school at the age of 40 to pursue a career in interior design. She attended the Design Institute and is currently an Allied Member of ASID. Although she considers herself a beginner, she has golf memberships at two country clubs, The Crosby at Rancho Santa Fe and Promontory in Park City, Utah.
